Allah's Saying: Spend (O Man)

[65. Surah At-Talaq : Ayah 2-3]
And whosoever keepeth his duty to Allah, Allah will appoint a way out for him. And He provides for him from (sources) he never could imagine. And if any one puts his trust in Allah, Allah will be sufficient for him.

[Sahih Bukhari : Volume 6, Book 60, Book Name 'Tafseer of the Prophet (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam )' Number 206]
Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu): Allah's Apostle (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) said: "Allah said, 'Spend (O man), and I shall spend on you." He (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) also said: "Allah's Hand is full, and (its fullness) is not affected by the continuous spending night and day." He (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) also said: "Do you see what He has spent since He created the Heavens and the Earth? Nevertheless, what is in His Hand is not decreased, and His Throne was over the water; and in His Hand there is the balance (of justice) whereby He raises and lowers (people)."

Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu) reported Allah's Messenger (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) as saying: Verily, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, would say on the Day of Resurrection:
"O son of Adam, I was sick but you did not visit Me. He would say: O my Lord; how could I visit Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds? Thereupon He would say: Didn't you know that such and such servant of Mine was sick but you did not visit him and were you not aware of this that if you had visited him, you would have found Me by him?
O son of Adam, I asked food from you but you did not feed Me. He would say: My Lord, how could I feed Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds? He said: Didn't you know that such and such servant of Mine asked food from you but you did not feed him, and were you not aware that if you had fed him you would have found him by My side?
(The Lord would again say: ) O son of Adam, I asked drink from you but you did not provide Me. He would say: My Lord, how could I provide Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds? Thereupon He would say: Such and such of servant of Mine asked you for a drink but you did not provide him, and had you provided him drink you would have found him near Me."

Everything Prostrates Allah (Subhan'Allah)

[13.Surah Ar-Ra'd : Ayah 15]
And whoever is in the heavens and the earth makes obeisance to Allah only, willingly and unwillingly, and their shadows too at morn and eve. (Ayat-e-Sajda)

[22.Surah Al-Hajj : Ayah 18]
Do you not see that Allah is He, Whom obeys whoever is in the heavens and whoever is in the earth, and the sun and the moon and the stars, and the mountains and the trees, and the animals and many of the people; and many there are against whom chastisement has become necessary; and whomsoever Allah abases, there is none who can make him honorable; surely Allah does what He pleases. (Ayat-e-Sajda)

[16.Surah An-Nahl : Ayah 48]
Do they not consider every thing that Allah has created? Its (very) shadows return from right and left, making obeisance to Allah while they are in utter abasement.

[16.Surah An-Nahl : Ayah 49]
And whatever creature that is in the heavens and that is in the earth makes obeisance to Allah (only), and the angels (too) and they do not show pride.

[16.Surah An-Nahl : Ayah 50]
They fear their Lord above them and do what they are commanded.

[7.Surah Al-A'raf : Ayah 206]
Surely those who are with your Lord are not too proud to serve Him, and they declare His glory and throw themselves down in humility before Him. (Ayat-e-Sajda)

[22.Surah Al-Hajj : Ayah 77]
O you who believe! bow down and prostrate yourselves and serve your Lord, and do good that you may succeed. (Ayat-e-Sajda)

[53.Surah An-Najm : Ayah 62]
Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. (Ayat-e-Sajda)

[19.Surah Maryam : Ayah 58]
These are they on whom Allah bestowed favors, from among the prophets of the seed of Adam, and of those whom We carried with Nuh, and of the seed of Ibrahim and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose; when the communications of the Beneficent God were recited to them, they fell down making obeisance and weeping. (Ayat-e-Sajda)

[25.Surah Al-Furqan : Ayah 60]
And when it is said to them: Make obeisance to the Beneficent God, they say: And what is the God of beneficence? Shall we make obeisance to what you bid us? And it adds to their aversion. (Ayat-e-Sajda)

[27.Surah An-Naml : Ayah 25]
That they do not make obeisance to Allah, Who brings forth what is hidden in the heavens and the earth and knows what you hide and what you make manifest.

[32.Surah As-Sajda : Ayah 15]
Only they believe in Our communications who, when they are reminded of them, fall down making obeisance and celebrate the praise of their Lord, and they are not proud. (Ayat-e-Sajda)

[41.Surah Hamim-Sajda : Ayah 37]
Do not make obeisance to the sun nor to the moon; and make obeisance to Allah Who created them, if Him it is that you serve.

[2.Surah Al-Baqarah : Ayah 112]
"Yes! whoever submits himself entirely to Allah and he is the doer of good (to others) he has his reward from his Lord, and there is no fear for him nor shall he grieve."

[17.Surah Bani Israel : Ayah 107-109]
Say: Believe in it or believe not; surely those who are given the knowledge before it fall down on their faces, making obeisance when it is recited to them.

[17.Surah Bani Israel : Ayah 108]
And they say: Glory be to our Lord! most surely the promise of our Lord was to be fulfilled.

[17.Surah Bani Israel : Ayah 109]
And they fall down on their faces weeping, and it adds to their humility. (Ayat-e-Sajda)

[84.Surah Al-Inshiqaq : Ayah 21]
And when the Quran is recited to them they do not make obeisance? (Ayat-e-Sajda)

[96.Surah Al-'Alaq : Ayah 19]
Make obeisance and draw nigh (to Allah). (Ayat-e-Sajda)

Note: Whenever Ayat-e-Sajda is recited then it is compulsory for the one who Recites and one who Listens to offer Sajda.

Allah will be opponent to Three types of People

[Sahih Bukhari: Volume 3, Book 36, Number 470]
Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu): The Prophet (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) said, "Allah said, 'I will be an opponent to three types of people on the Day of Resurrection:

1. One who makes a covenant in My Name, but proves treacherous;
2. One who sells a free person and eats his price; and
3. One who employs a laborer and takes full work from him but does not pay him for his lab our.' "

Fasting in Shawwal & Muharram

[Sahih Muslim : Book 6 Kitab Al-Sawm, Number 2614]
Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (Radi Allah Anhu) reported Allah's Messenger (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) as saying: He who observed the fast of Ramadan and then followed it with six (fasts) of Shawwal. it would be as if he fasted perpetually.

[Sahih Muslim : Book 6 Kitab Al-Sawm, Number 2611]
Abu Haraira (Radi Allah Anhu) reported Allah's Messenger (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) as saying: The most excellent fast after Ramadan is God's month. al-Muharram, and the most excellent prayer after what is prescribed is prayer during the night.

[Sahih Muslim : Book 6 Kitab Al-Sawm, Number 2612]
Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu) reported that He (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) was asked as to which prayer was most excellent after the prescribed prayer, and which fast was most excellent after the month of Ramadan. He said: Prayer offered in the middle of the night and the most excellent fast after (fasting) in the month of Ramadan is the fast in God's month al-Muharram.
